Easy Pizza Dough From Scratch

If you regularly make pizza at home and you would like to enjoy an easier way to produce dough, here is an easy method that you can use for producing homemade pizza dough at home:

This is a very uncomplicated pizza dough recipe that is designed for cooking in any type of conventional oven. It has simple ingredients and it tastes quite authentic.

It starts with 4 cups of Pizza flour or bread flour

2 teaspoons of kosher salt

One packet of instant yeast

1.6 cups of warm water

Start by:

Combining together the yeast and water in a bowl. Stir with your hands until the mixture is dissolved.

Please salt and flour into a stand mixer and use a dough hook if possible. Turning this on Lowell will let you combine the salt and flour.

Add the water and yeast into the bowl and scrape the sides of the mixing bowl to make sure the flour can be well hydrated.

When the dough has a smoother appearance remove it and cover it with plastic wrap.

Allow the dough to rise and double in size on the counter over the next few hours.

Divide the dough into four and start rolling it into balls. Brush a baking dish with olive oil and place the four balls into the ditch.

Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and allow it to double in size again before you produce the pizza.

The amount of flour that you will need to produce dough often comes down to the conditions outside. If you are producing dough in humid conditions you may need access to more flour. Longer rest times also ensure that you can have access to a more flavorful dough.

Keep this recipe in mind the next time that you want to produce an easy and great tasting pizza at home!
